This film series provides a forum for local and independent filmmakers and video artists to share and discuss their work and ideas. Each month we'll screen one or more works and then circle up for an intimate conversation with the artists or guest speaker. I've got a wide-screen plasma TV and a comfortable home in Brooklyn Heights and would like to host gatherings of movie lovers for watching classics, foreign films and indies and conversation over dinner. To start, we'll try ordering out (there are plenty of good but inexpensive places nearby that deliver (Thai, Janpanese, Italian, Indian, etc.); please bring your beverage of choice.

The RVC Film Society is an organization devoted to sharing our passion for foreign, classic, cult and independent cinema with the local community. Our mission is to create monthly events for the screening and discussion of brilliant films. Anyone with a passion for cinema should join!

The group's purpose is to attend independent and foreign films as well as other cultural events and lectures both in NJ and NYC. Hello, this group is all about going to the movies, well that and the occasional play. Much of what we will see will be local to Stamford, but there will be out of town events as opportunities arise.
