Some of the best and most magical films in cinema are the kind you read!  So while there are fewer options for foreign cinema locally, we hope to do a nicely rounded set of English Language films as well as those from more exotic locale. The point of the group is to uncover and enjoy gems that mainstream hollywood and the indie scene might have overlooked. We're known for lively, engaging, and diverse Meetups. No movie snobbery here!

This group is for people who are seriously interested in film and cinema, not just a meetup to go see the latest hit. Budd Wilkins, Staff Critic for Slant Magazine, and collector of art house, foreign, obscure and cult films and his wife Tina will moderate meetups on film literacy, history, and we will watch some truly interesting films!
